Biography:
Matt Ryan was born on April 11, 1981 in Swansea, Wales, UK. He trained at the Bristol Old Vic and later joined the Royal Shakespeare Company. He debuted in the TV show Nuts and Bolts in the early 2000s. He next made his first movie appearance in 2002’s Pocket Money. In 2007, he played Richard Pace in 2 episodes of The Tudors. He also played the role of Charley Bullard in the film Consenting Adults.
His next film performances were in Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day and Wild Decembers. His first starring role on television was as Mick Rawson in the short-lived series Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior. He later landed the role of John Constantine in another short-lived show Constantine. In 2017, he starred as Joe O’Hara in the British series The Halcyon. He recently reprised his role as John Constantine in Legends of Tomorrow.
