Matthew Alan is an American actor. He started acting in the 2000s, initially appearing in the films Charlie’s War and Bell Witch Haunting. He next played a recurring role in Ghost Whisperer’s spin-off Ghost Whisperer: The Other Side. Later in 2012, he had performances in the TV movie Walking the Halls and the film Red Tails. Also appearing in commercials, he starred in in a Bud Light beer commercial that premiered during the 2013 Super Bowl. He’s also made guest appearances on the television shows Veronica Mars, Lost, Modern Family. The Mentalist and Grey’s Anatomy. More recently, he played recurring character Chris Merrill in the Hulu series Castle Rock.
