Biography:
Matthew Dennis Lewis was born in Binghamton, New York, United States. He relocated to New York City where he trained and competed in Muay Thai. After six years in NYC, he moved to Hollywood to pursue an acting career. His background in martial arts has helped him land roles when he was just starting out as an actor. In 2012, he had his first television role in an episode of On the Case with Paula Zahn.
He next had appearances in Couples Who Kill and Scorned: Love Kills. After more roles in low-budget films and shows, he became known for his recurring character Donnie Devlin in Godless. After this, he had one-episode roles in Blue Bloods and I Am the Night. In 2020, he played Mike in The Queen’s Gambit, as well as acted in the film There’s No Such Thing as Vampires.
