Biography:

Matthew Goode was born on April 3, 1978 in Exeter, Devon, England, UK. He attended the University of Birmingham and London’s Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art.

He made his acting debut in the 2002 television film Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister. In 2004, he became known for his role as Mandy Moore’s character’s love interest in the film Chasing Liberty.

He has since appeared in such movies as Match Point, Watchmen, A Single Man, Leap Year, Cemetery Junction, and Burning Man, among others.

In addition, he starred in the BBC miniseries Birdsong and the BBC series Dancing on the Edge.
