Biography:

Matthew Lewis was born on 27 June 1989 in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. He started his acting career at an early age. Some Kind of Life, a British show, was credited as his screen debut. He next appeared on the shows Dalziel and Pascoe, Heartbeat, and Where the Heart Is. In 2001, he made his cinematic debut as Neville Longbottom in the film Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

He has since reprised his role in all of Harry Potter films. The last ones are Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2. These were released in 2010 and 2011, respectively. After his work in Harry Potter, he acted in the films Wasteland and Me Before You. He also had a notable role on the series Bluestone 42.
