Biography:
Max Riemelt was born on 7 January 1984 in East Berlin, East Germany. His acting career started in his native Germany during his early teens. In the 2000s, he became known for his starring roles in several German films. In 2014, he starred in the Polish movie Warsaw 44.
Afterwards, he became widely recognized after landing the role of Wolfgang Bogdanow on the Netflix series Sense8. He started playing the role in 2015. The show developed a solid fan base that got him noticed internationally. This opened some doors for him, including the male lead in the Australian movie Berlin Syndrome opposite Teresa Palmer. It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2017.
