Biography:

Maya Erskine was born on May 7, 1987 in Los Angeles, California, U.S. After high school, she attended NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. In 2013, she made her television debut as Nessie in Hart of Dixie. That same year, she also starred as Mikki in the web series Betas. After this, she played Maggie in the FXX show Man Seeking Woman.

In 2015, Erskine made her big screen debut in the film Frankenstein. She then played notable roles in such shows as Heartbeat, Insecure, Casual, and Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later. She went on to create, write, and executive produce the show PEN15, where she also plays the role of Maya Ishii-Peters.
