Hollywood actress-singer Megan Hilty got her start when she debuted on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. At the same time, she also had notable guest appearances on the television shows The Closer, Ugly Betty, Shark, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. She next appeared on Desperate Housewives and Eli Stone. Meanwhile, she made her big screen debut as the singing voice of Snow White on Shrek the Third. In the 2010s, she continued her guest stints on multiple TV shows, such as on Bones, Louie, and Melissa & Joey. She later landed her first starring role on the small screen — as Ivy Lynn on the NBC series Smash, which only lasted two seasons.

She played the said role from 2012 to 2013. During this period, she has also appeared in the films What Happens Next, Bitter Feast, and more recently, Rules Don’t Apply. After Smash, she starred as Liz on the short-lived NBC sitcom Sean Saves the World. It aired on television from 2013 to 2014. She later made guest roles as Charlene in 3 episodes of Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce. This is followed by her role as Holly Westfall on The Good Wife and Misty Alise on BrainDead. She also recently reprised her role as Holly Westfall on The Good Fight. Hilty is also a prolific Broadway performer.

The 37-year-old actress stays fit and healthy thanks to her clean diet plan — at least she tries to eat cleanly as often as possible. In an interview with Self, the actress and singer got candid about her eating habits. When asked how she maintains a healthy lifestyle, she said: “I totally let myself indulge, but I make little deals with myself. If I have an extra cupcake, I’ll run a couple of extra miles. I think it’s all about balance and not getting into extremes with dieting and exercising. Having a healthy attitude is important, too.” As for her go-to snacks, she loves “a mix of walnuts, almonds and dried fruit.”
