Melanie Martinez is an American singer-songwriter and actress. She first came to prominence after joining The Voice. Afterward, she released her debut single “Dollhouse” in 2014. She later released her debut EP, also titled Dollhouse. The following year, the singer released her first full-length studio album Cry Baby. The songs “Dollhouse” and “Pity Party”, to name a few, received moderate commercial success. In 2019, Martinez released her second album K-12. The album has an accompanying film, also called K-12, which she also wrote and directed. In the movie, she played the lead role of Cry Baby. This year, she released the single “Copy Cat” from her upcoming EP After School.
