Biography:

Melissa Fumero was born on August 19, 1982 in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, USA. She attended NYU where she completed her drama degree. In 2004, she made her acting debut as Adriana Cramer in the soap opera One Life to Live. She starred on the show from 2004 to 2011. In 2007, she made her movie debut with a small role in Descent.

Her first credited role on the big screen was in 2009’s I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell. After One Life to Live, she landed the role of Amy Santiago on the Fox sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. She began starring on the show in 2013 and continues to so until now. Her role on the show has also garnered her mainstream fame.
