Biography:

Michael Cera was born on June 7, 1988 in Brampton, Canada. After first acting in commercials and gaining recognition on the show I Was a Sixth Grade Alien from 1999 to 2001, he got his major breakthrough as George Michael Bluth in Arrested Development. His mainstream exposure in the show resulted in him landing starring roles in feature films, beginning with 2007’s Superbad.

He has since played notable roles in Juno opposite Ellen Page, Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist with Kat Dennings and Youth in Revolt alongside Portia Doubleday. In 2010, he played the titular character in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World starring along Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Anna Kendrick and Chris Evans, among others. He has recently appeared in This Is the End and Hits.
