Biography:
Michael Fassbender was born on April 2, 1977 in Heidelberg, Germany. He first appeared on television as Burton ‘Pat’ Christenson in the miniseries Band of Brothers, followed by appearances in Hearts and Bones and NCS Manhunt.
In 2007, he made his big screen appearance, playing the role of Stelios in 300. The following year, he made his breakthrough as Bobby Sands in the 2008 film Hunger.
He then went on to gain much acclaim for his role as Brandon Sullivan in the 2011 film Shame, for which he received a BAFTA nomination for Best Actor in a Leading Role.
