Biography:
Michael Keaton was born on September 5, 1951 in Robinson Township, Pennsylvania, U.S.. He made his film debut in 1978’s Rabbit Test. A few years later, he gained recognition for his role in 1982’s Night Shift. He went on to become known for his comedic roles in such feature films as Mr. Mom, Johnny Dangerously and Beetlejuice.
In 1989, he rose to international stardom for his portrayal of Bruce Wayne/Batman in 1989’s Batman and 1992’s Batman Returns. He has since starred in several well-known movies such as Pacific Heights, Much Ado About Nothing and Jackie Brown, among others. In 2014, he starred in Birdman, for which he won a Golden Globe for Best Actor and received an Oscar nomination for the same category.
