Biography:

Michael Zegen was born on February 20, 1979 in Ridgewood, New Jersey, U.S. In 2004, he started his professional acting career. That same year, he also gained his first notable role as Damien Keefe in the TV series Rescue Me. He was on the show until 2011, gaining him significant recognition among TV audiences. While on the show, he also started a career in the movies.

He made his debut in Bittersweet Place in 2005. He then played a supporting role as Eddie in The Girl Next Door. He has since appeared in the films Assassination of a High School President, Adventureland, and The Box. In 2010, he appeared in four episodes of How to Make It in America. He also gained further success for his role as Benny “Bugsy” Siegel in Boardwalk Empire. This year, he had a role in the movie The Seagull.
