Biography:

Miguel Gomez was born on August 20, 1985 in Santiago de Cali, Colombia. He started his career as a recording artist. He was the first artist to be officially signed to Jay-Z’s Roc La Familia Label. He has since released four mixtapes since 2005. He then ventured into acting.

He made his debut appearing in an episode of the FX comedy series Louie. He then became known for his role as Augustin “Gus” Elizalde on the TV series The Strain. In 2015, he played the role of Miguel “Magic” Escobar, the main rival of the protagonist in the movie Southpaw starring Jake Gyllenhaal.
