Mike Epps is an American actor, stand-up comedian, and producer. In 1997, he made his film debut in Strays. He later had his first television appearance in an episode of The Sopranos. Around this period, he also appeared in 5 episodes of Def Comedy Jam. In the 2000s, he landed several roles on the big screen. His breakout role was as Day-Day Jones in the stoner comedy film Next Friday. He reprised his role in the sequel Friday After Next. He also starred in the movies Resident Evil: Apocalypse, The Honeymooners, Roll Bounce, and Resident Evil: Extinction. In 2009, he played Black Doug in The Hangover, a role he reprised in The Hangover Part III. This year, he starred in the film Dolemite Is My Name. Back on TV, he also starred as Uncle Julius in the sitcom Survivor’s Remorse.
