Biography:

Miranda Raison was born on 18 November 1977 in Burnham Thorpe, Norfolk, England. Wanting to explore and study acting, she attended Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. Prior to her career on the screen, she started performing on plays. In the 2000s, she mostly landed one-episode roles on TV. She also starred in the TV movie The Private Life of Samuel Pepys. Her first movie role was as Heather in Woody Allen’s Match Point.

She next had performances in such films as Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo and Land of the Blind. Afterward, she appeared as Tallulah in 2 episodes of Doctor Who. Later in 2011, Raison played the role of Vanessa in the film My Week with Marilyn. She went on to play Caroline Fowlds in the TV series 24: Live Another Day. In 2017, the actress starred in the films Breathe and Murder on the Orient Express. Currently, she starred as Nellie Davenport in the Cinemax series Warrior.
