Miranda Richardson is an English actress. She debuted in 1981 with a one-episode role on the TV series Agony. Her first notable role was as Queenie on the British sitcom Blackadder II. She later starred on the TV movie After Pilkington, which got her a BAFTA nomination. Meanwhile, in 1985 she made her big screen debut in the film Dance with a Stranger. During the ’90s, she received a Golden Globe for her performance on the TV movie Fatherland. She later starred in the drama film The Big Brass Ring.
