Biography:
Monique Coleman was born on November 13, 1980 in Orangeburg, South Carolina, U.S. She attended DePaul University in Chicago where she graduated with a degree in acting. She made her acting debut in the 1995 short film Mother of the River. She next starred in the TV film The Ditchdigger’s Daughters in 1997 and did not have roles until 2003. During this period, she had guest appearances on television like in Boston Public.
In 2005, she played the recurring role Mary Margaret in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. She then starred as Taylor McKessie in the TV movie High School Musical and later joined Dancing with the Stars the following year. She reprised her role as Taylor in High School Musical 2 and High School Musical 3: Senior Year, the latter of which was released in cinemas. Her most recent role was as Katina Howard in the web series Guidance.
