Biography:

Monique Gabriela Curnen was born on September 7, 1970 in the USA. She was raised in Framingham, Massachusetts. She later moved to New York to take acting classes and start a Hollywood career. In 2001, she first made her acting debut in the Bollywood film Bollywood Calling. Later in 2006, she had her first TV appearance in an episode of Dexter.

That same year, she appeared in the drama film Half Nelson. She later played Detective Anna Ramirez in the film The Dark Knight. Back on TV, her first starring role was as Detective Allison Beaumont on the short-lived series The Unusuals. After a small role in the movie Fast & Furious, she played Amelia Dominguez in 3 episodes of Sons of Anarchy. In the 2010s, she played recurring character Detective Sharon Wallowski on Lie to Me.
