Indian actress Mrunal Thakur started her career on television. Prior to acting, she initially worked as a model. She first appeared in Star Plus’ Mujhse Kuchh Kehti…Yeh Khamoshiyaan in 2012. From 2014 to 2016, she starred as Bulbul Arora Khanna in the television drama Kumkum Bhagya. She also appeared as herself in the reality shows Box Cricket League and Nach Baliye 7. Around this period, Thakur ventured into film.
She first acted in the Marathi films Vitti Dandu and Surajya. She gained wider recognition in India for playing the titular character in the drama film Love Sonia. She next had starring performances in the feature films Super 30 with Hrithik Roshan and Batla House opposite John Abraham. She recently starred in the Netflix anthology film Ghost Stories. Thakur has a couple of upcoming movies that she’s currently filming.
Mrunal Thakur stays fit and healthy by choosing her foods well. She’s a healthy eater who usually avoids processed and sugary foods. “I eat a lot of vegetables and fruits. I generally avoid fried and junk food or foods with a lot of sugar,” said the actress. Nevertheless, she’s not scared to eat carbs. At least just enough to supply her body with its needed energy. She explained:
“A lot of people have this misconception that carbs are bad. If they want to lose weight, they stop having carbs. But the moment you do that, you shed a lot of hair, it affects the body negatively. So I always include carbs in my diet, for energy. Not a lot; I generally have carbs every alternate day.”
The actress also munches on something healthy for snacks. “My favourite healthy snack is almond protein bars. I munch on those whenever I’m peckish. I love nuts and I always have some kind of fruit in my bag,” shared the movie star.
