Nancy Travis is an American actress. With a career spanning decades since the 1980s, Travis successfully established her career, particularly on television. In 1987, she had her breakthrough role as Sylvia Bennington in the film Three Men and a Baby. In the ’90s, she portrayed Joan Barry in the biographical drama Chaplin. She then transitioned to starring on TV, playing Kim Cooper in the sitcom Almost Perfect. The following decade, she starred as Christine “Chris” Connor in another sitcom Becker. She later played Susan Pearson in The Bill Engvall Show. More recently, Travis became widely recognized for starring as Vanessa Baxter in Last Man Standing.
