Biography:

Nandana Sen was born on August 19, 1967 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. She attended Harvard University where she studied literature and was awarded the Detur Prize in her freshman year for topping her class.

She went on to train at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York and at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. While still a student, she made her film debut with the 1997 film Gudia.

She gained wider recognition in Bollywood for her role as Sara McNally in the 2005 film Black. She has since starred in such features as Strangers, Marigold, Sharpe’s Peril, Rang Rasiya, The Forest and Perfect Mismatch, among others.
