American model and actress Nargis Fakhri established her career in India. In the United States, she was a model and even joined the American show America’s Next Top Model. After doing a modeling gig for an Indian campaign, she was offered a role in movies. She made her Bollywood debut in the movie Rockstar. This was released in 2011 and garnered her mainstream notice. She may only be a only a few years shy of 40, but Nargis Fakhri maintains her sizzling appeal thanks to her toned figure. Working as a model in her earlier years, she’s naturally thin, but she’s managed to maintain it now that she’s older. Maintaining a slim physique in the late 30s is no easy feat. It involves healthy diet and regular workout routine. It also involves discipline and dedication for the model-actress. “Being fit is not just about working out and looking good, it’s also about having a positive attitude, making the right fitness choices and participating in activities one enjoys,” she said about fitness.
In an interview last year, she revealed her workout goals: “After combat training, I aim to include Tai Chi or Qigong as part of my daily routine. My other goal is to add an element of fun to my fitness regime this year. For my training, I plan to work on muscle strengthening and do 25 push-ups and at least 100 sit ups a day.” She continued: “Apart from yoga, some other forms of exercise that I have tried are CrossFit, Zumba and swimming, and will add a few more to the list this year. I always feel that such activities are more convenient and fun, rather than traditional gymming.”
