Biography:

Natalie Imbruglia was born on February 4, 1975 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. She first gained recognition as Beth Brennan in the Australian long-running soap Neighbours. She left the show in 1994 to launch a singing career.

Her efforts in establishing herself as a recording artist paid off with the massive success of her first single “Torn”. She then went on to garner numerous awards including an MTV Award for Best New Artist.

Her debut album Left of the Middle was released in 1997 and sold over 6 million copies internationally. She has since released other albums including White Lilies Island in 2001 and Counting Down the Days in 2005.
