Nawazuddin Siddiqui is an Indian actor. He debuted in the 1999 film Sarfarosh. In the 2000s, he had minor appearances in several films. Finally, he got his breakthrough in the 2007 film Black Friday. He went on to star in the movies Black & White, Firaaq, and New York. In the 2010s, he became further known for his performances in such films as Dekh Indian Circus and Paan Singh Tomar.

The actor gained wider recognition for starring as Faizal Khan in the movies Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 1 and Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 2.
