Biography:

Nayanthara was born on 18 November 1984 Bangalore, Karnataka, India. She enrolled at Marthoma College, Thiruvalla where she studied English Literature. While attending college, she worked as a part-time model. She later ventured into acting with her debut in the 2013 film Manassinakkare. She next starred in the films Natturajavu and Vismayathumbathu.

She next had roles in the Malayalam films Thaskara Veeran and Rappakal. Afterward, the actress began working in Telugu and Tamil movies. Her Tamil debut was in the film Ayya while her first Telugu role was in Lakshmi. She went on to star in the 2007 Tamil movie Billa, which was a huge success and gaining her wider recognition.
