Biography:

Neil Patrick Harris was born on June 15, 1973 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, U.S. He was discovered by playwright Mark Medoff, who later cast him in his 1988 film Clara’s Heart.

In 1995, he starred in Animal Room, his first film as an adult. He subsequently starred as supporting roles in many other movies such as The Next Best Thing, Undercover Brother, and Starship Troopers.

He became best known for his portrayal of the title character in the television series Doogie Howser, M.D. and as Barney Stinson in How I Met Your Mother.
