Biography:

Nicola Roberts was born on October 5, 1985 in Stamford, Lincolnshire, England. She first gained fame as a member of the girl-group Girls Aloud, after successfully competing in the reality show, Popstars: Rivals.

Their debut single, “Sound of the Underground” peaked at No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart. Due to their massive success, they were included in the Guinness World Records as the most successful reality television music-group.

She then ventured into a solo career, releasing her solo debut album Cinderella’s Eyes with her first single, Beat of My Drum. Both were received positively by critics but had mixed commercial success.
