Biography:
Nicolas Cage was born on January 7, 1964 in Long Beach, California, USA. He attended UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television.
He first had an uncredited role in the 1980 film Brubaker and appeared in the 1982 film Fast Times at Ridgemont High. He has since appeared in other notable films like Moonstruck, Raising Arizona, Wild at Heart, Bringing Out the Dead, and Matchstick Men.
In 1995, he starred in the film Leaving Las Vegas, for which he received his first Academy Award for Best Actor. He went on to star in Spike Jonze’s Adaptation where he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor.
