Biography:

Nicole Ari Parker was born on October 7, 1970 in Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.. She started acting in high school on school plays. She attended The Washington Ballet Company. She went on to enroll at the New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. She finished her acting degree in 1993. Her career started in independent films, such as The Adventures of Sebastian Cole.

She also starred in the movie Boogie Nights. In the 2000s, she became known for her role as Teri Joseph on the TV series Soul Food. She next starred on the short-lived series Second Time Around. She took a break in the mid to late 2000s. In the 2010s, she had a recurring role on Revolution. She then joined the main cast of Murder in the First. As of 2015, she has a recurring role on Rosewood.
