Norm Macdonald is a Canadian actor, comedian, and writer. Initially, he appeared in such TV programs as Star Search and One Night Stand. He next worked as a writer for the sitcom Roseanne. Later in 1995, he made his film debut in Billy Madison. He went on to appear in the film Dirty Work where he was also credited as a writer. From 1999 to 2001, he starred in his own show The Norm Show. After this, he starred as the lead in the short-lived sitcom A Minute with Stan Hooper. Also in the 2000s, he had performances in the films Screwed, Dr. Dolittle 2, Dr. Dolittle 3, and Farce of the Penguins, among others. In 2010, he starred in the movie Hollywood & Wine. He recently hosted the show Norm Macdonald Has a Show.
