Biography:
Odessa Young was born on 11 January 1998 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. She started performing in Sydney by acting in stage productions. At age 18, she moved to Los Angeles, then to New York. Initially, she made her acting debut when she was 11, appearing in an episode of My Place. Years later, she starred as Emma Christie in the TV series Tricky Business.
She next appeared as Lucy Wallace in some episodes of Wonderland. In 2015, Young made her film debut in The Daughter. That same year, she played the title role in Looking for Grace. She ultimately pursued a career in Hollywood with roles in the films Sweet Virginia, Assassination Nation, A Million Little Pieces, and The Professor. Recently, she starred as Frannie Goldsmith in the miniseries The Stand, as well as appeared in the 2020 movie Shirley.
