Oliver Hudson was born on September 7, 1976 in Los Angeles, California. Actress Kate Hudson is his sister. In 1999, he started his professional acting debut in the film The Out-of-Towners. He next had roles in the films Rocket’s Red Glare, The Smokers, Going Greek, and New Best Friend. In 2002, he made his television debut as Jace Darnell in My Guide to Becoming a Rock Star.

He next played Eddie Doling in Dawson’s Creek. Afterward, he joined the main cast of the show The Mountain as David Carver Jr. From 2007 to 2013, he became known for his role as Adam Rhodes in Rules of Engagement. Subsequently, he starred as Jeff Fordham in the show Nashville. From 2015 to 2016, he starred as Weston “Wes” Gardner in Scream Queens. It was recently announced that he landed the male lead in the upcoming sitcom Splitting Up Together.
