Biography:

Olivia Cooke was born on December 27, 1993 in Oldham, Greater Manchester, England, UK. She began acting since she was eight when she became involved with the local drama program Oldham Theatre Workshop. She applied for a spot at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art but was not accepted. She made her television debut in 2012 episodes of Blackout. She has also appeared as Nancy Linnet in The Secret of Crickley Hall.

The time she got her rejection letter from RADA, she also learned that she got the role of Jane Harper in 2014’s The Quiet Ones, which marked her film debut. She has since appeared in other feature films like The Signal and Ouija. Mainstream recognition, however, came in 2013 for playing Emma Decody in the American series Bates Motel, a role she still plays up to present.
