Biography:
Owen Wilson was born on November 18, 1968 in Dallas, Texas. Andew Wilson is his older brother while Luke Wilson is his younger sibling. He started his career in 1996 when he made his movie debut in Bottle Rocket, a film he also co-wrote with its director Wes Anderson. This also began Wilson and Anderson teaming up in many other films such as in Rushmore and The Royal Tenenbaums, the latter of which earned then an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay. He also starred in the film.
Wilson is also known for several action-comedy and comedy films, including Shanghai Noon, Meet the Parents, Zoolander, Shanghai Knights, Starsky & Hutch, Wedding Crashers, You, Me and Dupree, and Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian. He also played the titular character in Drillbit Taylor. In the 2010s, he starred in Hall Pass, Midnight in Paris, and The Grand Budapest Hotel, among others.
