Patricia Velásquez is a Venezuelan actress. She made her acting debut in the 1996 French film Le Jaguar. The following year, she appeared in the New Zealand film Eruption. She then made her Hollywood debut in the 1999 film Beowulf. The actress gained mainstream recognition for her role as Anck-Su-Namun in the Hollywood film The Mummy. In the 2000s, she continued her career with roles in the movies Committed, Façade, and Mindhunters. She also reprised her role as Anck-Su-Namun in 2001’s The Mummy Returns. After this, she starred in the TV miniseries Fidel, as well as played Marta Estrella in Arrested Development. In the 2010s, she had roles in the films Almighty Thor, as well as played the title role in the Venezuelan film Liz in September. Her latest film role was in 2019’s The Curse of La Llorona.
