Patrick Fugit is an American actor. He started his career in the late 1990s, first appearing in the TV series Touched by an Angel. In 2000, he gained recognition for starring as William Miller in Cameron Crowe’s Almost Famous. The rest of the decade saw him performing in the films Spun, White Oleander, Saved!, Dead Birds, The Amateurs, and Wristcutters: A Love Story. He later played the title role in the film Bickford Shmeckler’s Cool Ideas. In the 2010s, he had performances in the feature films We Bought a Zoo, Thanks for Sharing, Reckless, Gone Girl, and Queen of Earth. He played the title role in Alex & The List and portrayed Elliot See in First Man. From 2016 to 2018, he played the lead Kyle Barnes in the horror drama Outcast. His most recent film role was in 2019’s Robert the Bruce.
