Biography:

Paul Wesley was born on July 23, 1982 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, U.S. He made his first television appearance in the soap opera Another World. While still in high school, he was cast as Max Nickerson in Guiding Light.

He then attended Rutgers University but left after a semester when more roles were offered to him. He has since appeared in other television shows including Wolf Lake, American Dreams and Smallville, among others.

He played a number of recurring roles in the small screen such as in Everwood, Fallen, Cane, Army Wives and 24, before landing his breakthrough role as Stefan Salvatore in The Vampire Diaries.
