Biography:

Payal Rohatgi was born on November 9, 1984 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. She was raised in Ahmedabad, Gujarat and completed her education at L.D. College of Engineering with a degree in Computer Engineering.

She began her career as a model, appearing in ads for such companies as Amul, Nirma, and Nescafe. She first gained recognition after appearing in a Cadbury television commercial.

In 2002, she made her Bollywood debut with the film Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai?. She then went on to land the title role in the 2004 movie Laila. She has since starred in other features like Chetna: The Excitement and 36 China Town.
