Biography:
Pedro Pascal was born on April 2, 1975 in Santiago, Chile. He was a competitive swimmer as a kid but shifted his interest into acting after starting a drama class. He attended NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. In 1999, he started his acting career with guest roles on television. His first recurring role was as Greg in Undressed. Later in 2005, he made his film debut in Hermanas. Between 2009 and 2011, he appeared as Nathan Landry in The Good Wife.
He next played a role in the film The Adjustment Bureau. He went on to appear as Juan Badillo in Graceland and Marcus Pike in The Mentalist. Pascal’s breakout role was as Oberyn Martell in Game of Thrones. Following this, he starred as Javier Peña in Narcos. As of 2019, he stars as the lead in the Apple TV+ series The Mandalorian. The actor has since starred in several major films following his Game of Thrones breakthrough, including Kingsman: The Golden Circle, The Equalizer 2, and Triple Frontier. This year, he portrayed Maxwell Lord in Wonder Woman 1984, as well as starred in We Can Be Heroes.
