Biography:

Penn Badgley was born on November 1, 1986 in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. At the age of 11, he moved to Hollywood where he started pursuing a career in acting.

He made his acting debut in an episode of Will & Grace, and subsequently appeared in such TV shows as Daddio, The Brothers Garcia and What I Like About You.

He made his first major film credit in 2006 when he starred in the film John Tucker Must Die. He made his breakthrough the following year after being cast as Dan Humphrey in The CW’s teen drama series Gossip Girl.
