Biography:
Peter Sarsgaard was born on March 7, 1971 in Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, U.S.. He made his film debut in 1995’s Dead Man Walking and went on to land roles in such movies as The Man in the Iron Mask, Another Day in Paradise, and Boys Don’t Cry. His first notable role was in 2004’s Garden State alongside Natalie Portman and Zach Braff.
In the 2000s, his prolific career on the big screen was evident with supporting/starring roles in The Skeleton Key, Flightplan, Jarhead, Rendition, An Education, Orphan, and Knight and Day. In 2011, he went on to play Dr. Hector Hammond in the superhero movie Green Lantern. Most recent films are Blue Jasmine, Night Moves, and Pawn Sacrifice.
