Biography:

Phoebe Tonkin was born on July 12, 1989 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. She started taking courses at the Australian Theatre for Young People at the Wharf Theatre.

In 2006, she starred in the Australian children television series H20: Just Add Water, playing the role of Cleo Sertori. She was then nominated for Best Lead Actress in a Television series at the Australian Film Institute Awards.

She moved to Los Angeles in 2011 and starred as Faye Chamberlain in The CW supernatural drama series The Secret Circle. Her performance received acclaim from critics and she was referred to as the breakout star in the show.
