Biography:

Pihla Viitala was born on September 30, 1982 in Helsinki, Finland. She attended Theatre Academy Helsinki where she studied acting. She made her motion picture debut with the Finnish movie Ganes in 2007.

She has since starred in a number of films including Tears of April, Helsinki, Pihalla, Reykjavik Whale Watching Massacre, Bad Family, and Red Sky. She recently played Mina in the American-German film Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters.

She then made appearances in a variety of television shows such as Lemmenleikit, Projectors, Ihmebantu, and Virta. She also landed a role in the Norwegian television series Hellfjord.
