Polly Walker is an English actress. She had her career beginnings in the 1990s, debuting in the TV movie Lorna Doone. She later made her cinematic debut in the film Journey of Honour. In the next couple of years, Walker had roles in the films Walking a Tightrope, Enchanted April, Patriot Games, The Trial, Emma, and The Gambler, among others. In the 2000s, she became known for starring as Anne Collins in the TV drama State of Play. She also starred as Atia of the Julii in the historical drama series Rome. For her performance here, she was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actress. Her next role was as Clarice Willow in the American series Caprica, after which she starred in the BBC drama series Prisoners’ Wives. Recently, she played Gill Biggeloe in Line of Duty and Peggy Sykes in Pennyworth.
