Pooja Salvi was born on August 19, 1988 in Patan, Gujarat, India. She started her career in the entertainment industry as a model. She first got noticed when she was featured in a Lux commercial with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, directed by Rohan Sippy.
She later appeared in ad campaigns for such brands as Cadbury, Tata Sky and Francis Alukkas, further receiving recognition.
She then ventured into acting, making her feature film debut playing the role of Nandini Patel in the 2013 movie Nautanki Saala! alongside Ayushmann Khurrana.
