Biography:

Preeti Desai was born on September 29, 1984 in Middlesbrough, England. She was crowned Miss Cleveland and was later announced as the winner of Miss Great Britain in 2007, becoming the first British Indian to win the title.

The following year, she moved to Mumbai where she was represented by noted photographer Atul Kasbekar. She subsequently began her career as a model. In 2011, she made her film debut with the Hindi feature Shor in the City.

For her performance in Shor in the City, she received a nomination for Best Lead Actress at the South Asian Rising Star Film Awards. She also recently starred in the Hindi romantic comedy movie One by Two.
