Biography:

Q’orianka Kilcher was born on February 11, 1990 in Schweigmatt, Germany. She began her acting career at a young age. At age nine, she was cast for the role of Choire Who in Ron Howard’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas. She then obtained a Hollywood Musician Institute scholarship at age 12. At age 14, she starred as Pocahontas in The New World.

For her performance here, she won the Best Breakthrough Performance by an Actress award at the National Board of Review Awards. She also won an ALMA Award for Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture. Her next work was as the lead role in the 2009 movie Princess Kaiulani. This year, she’s appeared in the films The Vault and Hostiles.
