Biography:

Rachel Stevens was born on April 9, 1978 in Southgate, London, England. She attended the London College of Fashion where she earned a diploma in business. She then began her singing career as a member of the pop group S Club 7.

In 1999, the group rose to fame by starring in their own BBC television series Miami 7. Throughout the course of their career as a group, they released four studio albums and went on to sell over 14 million albums internationally.

She then launched her solo singing career after S Club 7’s split in 2003, releasing her first solo album Funky Dory. The album was a minor hit, peaking at No. 9 on the UK albums chart.
